End Zone

The end zones are the 10-yard scoring zones located at the ends of the football field. The objective of the game is to score in your opponent’s end zone. Teams switch end zones at the end of every quarter. The end zone behind each team is their end zone (the one they are trying to defend) and the one in front of them is their opponent’s end zone (the one they are trying to score in). Four orange pylons are used to show the outer parameters of the end zone and the goal line is the yard line prior to each end zone which serves as a barrier between the playing field and the end zone.
